You can’t go wrong with a giant mickey waffle and it’s the perfect way to kickstart a big day at Magic Kingdom. For $7.49 you can get this filling treat at Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square near the Hall of Presidents. Pro tip: Mobile order this for breakfast while waiting in the Haunted Mansion queue.

Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich

For just a dollar more than the mickey waffle, treat yourself to the fresh fruit waffle sandwich at Sleepy Hollow. A classic Belgian waffle served with strawberries, banana, blueberries, and Nutella - a breakfast treat that Max absolutely loves!

Don’t miss out on a  warm giant cinnamon roll from Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland. This is one of Max’s favorite Disney snacks and it’s only $6.99 for this giant breakfast treat.

Head to Adventureland for the orange chicken strips at Tortuga Tavern. Perfect for lunch or dinner, and we always can find a nice place to sit and relax in this area. Tortuga Tavern is conveniently located near Aloha Isle, where someone in your group can grab some dole whip too!

Enjoy this delicious stuffed pretzel  made with jalapeno bread and filled with warm pepper jack cheese. I love anything jalapeno and this stuffed pretzel is the perfect snack in Fantasyland.

Whether you love it or hate it, the classic jumbo turkey leg is one of my favorite Disney snacks. Priced at 13.49, it’s a filling meal that can easily be shared. Find it available at Sleepy Hollow after 9pm, Liberty Square Market after 11am, and Prince Eric’s Village Market.

Dole Whip/ Dole Whip Float

No visit to Magic Kingdom is complete without cooling off with a cup of dole whip. Choose from pineapple Dole Whip, vanilla Dole Whip or swirl. Another way to enjoy this tropical treat is to get a Dole Whip float with pineapple juice.

Indulge in this refreshing treat from Aloha Isle featuring coconut soft-serve with  pineapple-orange-guava juice and an upside-down pineapple cake pop. This 50th anniversary treat seems like it’s here to stay and we’re not complaining!

For a delicious dinner at Magic Kingdom, I love the lobster roll from Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square. Priced at about $17, it features chilled lobster with a touch of mayo on a New England-style bun, served with french fries. Especially on a hot day, this light and fresh lobster roll really hits the spot.

Cream Cheese Warm Stuffed Pretzel

The Lunching Pad


Treat yourself to this warm cream cheese filled pretzel which is slightly sweet and so delicious. Find it at the Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland for a perfect afternoon snack.

Westward Ho and Casey’s Corner


For a quick and classic snack, grab some corn dog nuggets from Westward Ho in Frontierland or Casey’s Corner on Main Street. These bite-sized corn dog nuggets with a golden-brown batter are perfect when dipped in ketchup and mustard. These are great for a quick and savory snack in Magic Kingdom.

Creamy Bacon Macaroni and Cheese

Friar’s Nook 


Indulge in a bowl of creamy mac and cheese at Friar’s Nook in Fantasy Land. While the mac and cheese is super creamy and delicious, we found the large dollop of sour cream on top a bit odd; we recommend ordering it without the sour cream.

Right outside Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, treat yourself to a delightful breakfast or snack with a choice between sweet or savory crêpes. Our favorites include the cream of brie cheese galette, red berries crêpe, and the house-made hazelnut & chocolate spread crêpe, and the classic butter and sugar crêpe.

School Bread 

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, Norway Pavilion


This sweet roll, filled with vanilla custard and topped with toasted coconut, can be found in the Norway Pavilion. Despite my usual aversion to coconut, this delicious filled pastry won me over.

La Cava del Tequila, Mexico Pavilion


Find this delicious guac at La Cava, a cozy lounge tucked inside the Mexico pavilion. Not listed on the menu, you’ll need to ask for it specifically. Enjoy a generous portion of super fresh and delicious guacamole while sipping on an avocado margarita. 

Sliced Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich

Regal Eagle Smokehouse


Our top choice for lunch or dinner in Epcot is the brisket sandwich from Regal Eagle. While all their sides are all fantastic, the mac and cheese is our personal favorite. Don’t forget to sample their wide selection of BBQ - the Blue Ridge Vinegar League and Old Glory Mustard Guild top our list.

Create your own ice cream sandwich at L'Artisan des Glaces in the France Pavilion. Begin with a warm brioche bun, choose your ice cream flavor, drizzle chocolate or caramel sauce on top, and have it pressed and warmed for the perfect combination. If you have a sweet tooth, this is the perfect treat for you! 

Moonshine Sour

Regal Eagle Smokehouse


At the outdoor bar, try my favorite Disney cocktail - the moonshine sour. Crafted with Ole Smoky blackberry moonshine, blood orange, blackberry, and lemon, it’s the perfect balance to compliment the smoky BBQ.

Festival Booth Treats

Epcot’s World Showcase

Exploring Epcot's World Showcase and sampling the culinary delights offered at the festival booths is one of our favorite activities in Epcot. We usually visit during the Festival of the Holidays, where we love to indulge in a variety of holiday treats from around the world. Our must-try favorites include the peanut stew from the Refreshment Outpost, scallops from Canada, the tamal from Mexico, and the cheese fondue from Germany. 

Ice Cream Martini

L'Artisan des Glaces, France Pavilion


Create your own ice cream martini by selecting 2 scoops of ice cream paired with a shot of Grand Marnier, Whipped Cream Vodka or Rum. My favorite combinations are cinnamon caramel apple ice cream with whipped cream vodka and any sorbet with rum.

Mexico Pavilion 


A visit to the World Showcase isn’t complete without trying a margarita from Mexico. Our top picks include the avocado margarita from La Cava del Tequila, the horchata margarita, frozen strawberry, and passion fruit margaritas from Choza de Margarita.

Norwegian Chocolate Kringla

Treat yourself to the Norwegian Chocolate Kringla, available at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion. This pretzel-shaped pastry, offered in chocolate and almond, has a delicious texture and a small amount of raisins throughout. Even for those not typically fans of raisins, like myself,  the minimal amount in this treat is manageable, especially since it's generously drizzled with chocolate.

Woody’s Lunch Box


Located in Toy Story Land, the ‘totchos’ are one of our favorite meals at Woody’s Lunch Box. Crispy tater tots, known as ‘potato barrels,’ serve as the base, topped with layers of warm queso, beef and bean chili, shredded cheese, tomatoes, corn chips, sour cream and green onion.

In my opinion, the sweet and tangy BBQ brisket melt stands out as one of the best overall snacks at Disney World. Loaded with shredded smoked brisket, pickles, tangy bbq sauce,  a blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on grilled sourdough, this sandwich is absolutely delicious.

Treat yourself to a cup of Batuu’s legendary blue (or green) milk from the Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge. We love exploring Galaxy’s Edge at night and enjoying dinner at Docking Bay 7. We share a Ronto Wrap from Ronto Roasters and the delicious Smoked Kaadu Pork Ribs from Docking Bay 7. These extremely tender pork ribs are glazed with a tangy bbq sauce and served with a blueberry corn muffin and red cabbage slaw.
